An unusually productive day for us today--took Dave away from freelancing (not a teaching at school day today) and spent money instead--ok so we won't eat next week--will deal with that then!
We took the kids to school, went out to breakfast, ordered parts for my car, stopped in at the mall to SEE a pair of shoes I spied while "researching" Louise's beautiful new red mary janes and blue strappy numbers. Check out the pic- Rickters (thank you Louise!!!)-- they had them!--was just looking to tame lust and hubby bought them on the spot--I squeed all day! (I am using "squee" right huh? I only hear it here)
We stopped and looked at costume jewelery and Dave is showing interest in such things for himself also it was so nice to just browse together like this! He wants a thumb ring!!!???!!?!???!???!
I got a box of semi permanent hair dye to play with --Zoe is gonna love this coz she'll get the surplus--she is squeeing now too!
Pillows were on sale at Sears-->ka-ching-->five new pillows!
A bit later after we picked up my car parts we went back to the mall with the kids where I exchanged The Gap jeans that stretched out on me-sized down (Thank you Angie for that idea!!). Even without the sales slip.
The kids each got those silly running shoes with the wheel in the heel.
I fixed the Bug so now I'm back on the road again--wahoo!
Set up a file on my desktop for YLF--hope I can figure this posting thing out!!
A good time was had by all!
I think I'm being softened up by hubby for a puppy!
