I am discovering that I am indeed a boring dresser. The pictures don't lie (unfortunately).
I have worked hard to find clothes that fit and I do have a MOTG lifestyle but still...
What do think? Classic or just plain?

Nor boring, classic! I think you look really nice! Your garments fit well and you seem happy with what you're wearing. What about some accessories to jazz it up a bit if you are feeling too classic?

Thanks Nakidra, I admire your style btw. I know accessories would help and I am working in that. I don't mind classic, I actually strive for it but I just wasn't sure if this crossed the line into boring:) Thanks for your encouragement.

I agree with Nakidra. Very classic, in a good way! A fun bag, bangles and a scarf with some fun colors could spice things up a bit. You could add a blazer, too. But you have some beautiful pieces here that fit perfectly, the bones of any great wardrobe IMO.

I think you look really nice and very classic. I really like the lines of your clothes, it is very flattering on your body!

You could very easily have some extra fun with colour and texture in a subtle or statement way.

If, for instance, you wanted to start out subtle, you could easily add just one or two little accessories such as a coloured shoe peeking out underneath your trousers; a coloured handbag; a contrasting belt; a statement bangle, necklace, earrings or brooches. These will all provide you with an extra point of interest, but don't necessarily dramatically alter the classic styling, colours and lines of the outfit.

If you wanted to go for a bolder look, you could add bigger or more "structural" (for lack of a better word) such things like scarves, jackets etc which would dramatically alter the overall aesthetic of the look.

I'd love to see you play around with different "mixing" and "matching" between both subtle and bold looks to see what appeals to you the most.

LOL, Tina. You're a hoot. You are a SHARP dresser. Getting dressed may be boring, but you are so not a boring dresser.

I like the idea of some statement jewelry. Something architectural and unique.

Definitely not boring! I'm a classic dresser myself and I think you have some great basics here. Everything fits very well which is key for great style. I could see maybe a cropped blazer with the first outfit, or a statement necklace, or perhaps a colorful pump. I really like the purple and black in the 2nd outfit - is that a vest or is one sweater? Either way, I like it. You also have fabulous legs - maybe give skinnies a try for a different silouhette?

I do not consider this boring - like others have pointed out, it's classic. Your clothes fit well and flatter your figure. If you wanted to "punch things up" a bit, you could add a coloured accessory like a scarf or bag. It's better to have the basics down first and you have that!

You look terrific. But as the others have said, if you're hoping to inject something new into your style, maybe you can try adding interesting accessories or footwear or a bit of pattern.

Can you wear scarves, or do they just get in the way when you are caring for your daughter? They are an inexpensive way to add a pop of colour or some contrast.

Definitely NOT plain. I would say sleek, streamlined. Classic and stylish. The fit of your clothes is so, so perfect that plain cannot describe any aspect of your style. I bet you turn a lot of heads now, and you don't even know it.

I agree with the others' comments and suggestions to try adding in a pop of more color here or there or a bolder accessory, as you are comfortable, if you are wanting to bring some new twists to your look. I like the jewelry you've chosen, as it doesn't overwhelm you. You may find that smaller-scaled pieces with impact are most comfortable--thin rather than chunky scarves, for example. I could see a narrow belt over that black sweater in the first outfit--something in a color or patent leather or animal print.

Tina, you are gorgeous and you have a great frame for clothes! I love your trouser/footwear combos. VERY sharp. I think you have laid a very good, strong style foundation here and now you get to have fun learning how you want to "ice the cake". The others have had some great ideas for you, maybe you can start a style file to see what tickles your fancy? Don't despair, you are miles ahead of most people!

Disagree with boring. How about understated chic? You could play with these - try scrunching up the sleeves and/or dropping the earrings OR the necklace (ala parisian chic). The boots look splendid peaking out of the wide hems. Do not underestimate yourself!

Amyreh, my second outfit is a vest with a purple tee underneath.
I really don't know where to begin to acknowledge the help.
Sue, I do wear scarves but I do take into consideration what we will be doing and how much I will be handling her.
Isis, I do want to be a classic dresser, I think that fits 'me', but I just wasn't sure if I was getting it.
It's as though I have all these personal stylists at my disposal, how awesome is that!

As everyone has said, your attention to fit makes these anything but boring. Luv the way those dress pants fit you perfectly and how the pointy toe shoes lengthen your leg line.

Maybe you can venture outside your usual and try an accessory that you normally don't buy. A hat? Animal print or snakeskin textured shoes? I find accessories to be a big bang for the buck in injecting new life into my wardrobe.

I love that someone said "these are the bones". I think if YOU are questioning whether or not your style is boring, that means you are feeling that way. I agree with all that you are wearing great classic pieces but you can certainly jump off different rooftops depending on how you want to take it. I noticed the peek of a red cami---I would love to see a low red heeled pump or a bright red bag. Maybe a colorful jacket in red or a brighter color that you love would be fun----try adding your "signature color"---do you have one? to any outfit you own...gloves, scarf, purse, shoes, that is always a fun and great way to make a statement!

I REALLY like #1. Those pieces fit you perfectly and are true durable classics. I do think that you can spunk up the modern now that you have an excellent classic grounding. You need another style of accessory for a more interesting juxtaposition. Does that make sense?

Great classic outfits here. Not boring at all. Everything fits you perfectly. You can always jazz these up and mix them up with chunkier accessories: maybe a bold scarf one day, some layered necklaces another and then a third day little to no accessories. This way the focal point changes each time even if the outfit is mostly the same.
