I'm happy to say that so far NAS has been mostly easy to resist this year, since I have few fall/winter wardrobe holes. That's a relief, because I've taken up flying and that's been a real budget buster. My most recent accessory purchase was a headset:)
That said, using the wisdom of YLF, I've been shopping very deliberately. Here's what's on order:
1. Halogen tweed jacket. This is my "I just love it" purchase. So fun, so maximal, and I'm wearing it to work no matter what. Good with a pared down silhouette on workdays, great with white or blue jeans on weekends.
2. Rag & Bone Dres. My old Kut Dianas, which have been a workhorse for years, are showing their age. I'm hoping the Dres will be a good replacement. If they are, the Dianas will be downgraded to gear.
3. Zella hoodie. Nice for lounging, but structured enough that I'm comfortable wearing it out and about without feeling too sloppy.
4. Vince Camuto pintucked top in cream. Looks like a good basic layering piece and I can always use more.
5. Kut plaid pants. I've been a frock/skirt fan for fall and winter for years now, but I'm really feeling the pull to have more pants as options. Pants are so much more difficult to fit, though. Hoping the ponte makes them forgiving. I bought these in my usual Kut denim size so hopefully they fit.
6. Trouve wrap blouse. The reviews say the fit is really off, but the silhouette in the stripe is so fun that I'm going to give it a whirl and see.
There's always the chance other items pop up so never say never. But I'm going to try to stick with these!
