I popped into the small local store briefly during my lunch hour and had a fruitful trip!
1) Reason for the trip: Angie had mentioned that the BLANKNYC hooded moto jacket ran small, so I wanted to see if I needed to order the size Small. Nope--the XS fits me perfectly. Fitted but not too tight in the shoulders and even the sleeve length, with the difficult to alter zippers, isn't too long. I'd say it fits like a 0P. I'm so excited to see the green version when it arrives; if the color is right, then I'll have found a HEWI at a great price to boot. If I didn't already have a black leather moto, I would have been tempted to get the black as well.
2) The Gibson convertible cardigan wrap is kind of weird to put on, but it drapes really well. I'm trying on the XXSP here in blue (ordered same size in black), which fits well enough with room for layering that I didn't bother trying the XSP. Nordstrom online says that only the regular sizes run large, but IMO the petite sizes are running on the large size as well.
Also in this photo are the KUT Donna/Diana (tag and online contradict each other) gray plaid ponte pants, which are super comfy. I'm wearing the size 0 here which were strangely super long....
3/4) Because I sized down to a 00 and then the length was magically fine. The tag on both jeans say "Donna Ankle Skinny" so maybe the first pair was just manufactured incorrectly? The size down is still comfy and I know KUT bottoms will stretch. Purchased these and probably keeping as it's a good price point and I can always use more jeans/casual pants. Note: BOTH front and back pockets are functional! As someone who needs to wear a clip-on badge for work, that sealed the deal for me.
5) I completely missed this dress online but was drawn to the print immediately in-store. It leans a bit more green-teal than the blue-teal of the product photo. Wearing a regular XS here, which is all they had, and it's definitely too wide. I ordered XXSP online. Polyester, but it doesn't feel hot, and machine wash+dry is a big plus.
Not pictured: I forgot to snap photos of the shoes I tried on later. Really liked the Dolce Vita perforated caramel suede booties that Angie showed in her dressing room thread. They only had size 6 in store; I decided to order a 5, the smaller of my two sizes, because the unlined suede upper will stretch and I hope to wear these without socks. I'm in need of transitional closed toe shoes for the late fall/early winter months when it's too chilly for sandals but not cold enough to require socks. The color is definitely warm-toned, not too brown or yellow, more of a warm tan neutral.
Finally, notes on a few other pairs: Blondo Nova heeled booties fit TTS, I'd get 5.5 for winter-weight socks or 5 if I were planning to wear with tights. The cognac brown color is nice if you're looking for brown; I was a bit disappointed that the burgundy color is a true dark red in person, rather than the purplish burgundy of the product photo.
Vince Darlington flats - You need to be OK with the look of a long and pointy toe, which I wasn't. Reasonably comfortable but not outstanding; very flat with no arch support. Definitely size down and/or take the smaller of your two sizes; they again only had a 6 for me to try but I would definitely need the 5 if not smaller (doesn't come any smaller than a 5 though).
