A few more finds.... 2 tone jeans

1. and 2. I saw these 2 tones jeans at Old Navy and thought what an edgy piece. but once I go them I wasn't sure how to feel and how to dress them up. I guess because I'm so short, I feel the jeans overwhelmed my frame. Or maybe I'm just not used to baggy jeans. I like the way they styled the model. They fit well and are quite loose. Should I keep?

3. and 4. LOFT booties - I meant so show you these with my LOFT haul post. They are my size and fit well but the toe box is so long. Is there a way we can fill in the gap between my toes to front of the bootie?

The booties are styled with my petite plumb jeans. (I'm still waiting on the longer regular fit for comparison).

Wow, I love these, and I immediately skated over to the Old Navy site to see if they had them in my size. I think they look great on you. They're trendy, yes, but in shades of black they should be durable in your wardrobe for a long time.
Did you get them in petite? I'm wondering about the inseam length for myself.

Ha! These jeans look like my two tone Levi’s. They are also wide but I like them (I’m also petite). So, I’d say keep

I think if the booties are comfortable as is, I wouldn’t worry about the toe. Unless it looks odd, that is, but I’m guessing the issue is not visible.

Ooh I like them! I do think it takes a bit to get used to the wider legs, still working on it myself. Heading over to ON to check them out.

I looked at the photo before reading your comments and thought the shoe looked really long then I read your comments so… More importantly, I find too long of toes to cause me to trip bc my walking pattern is used to a shorter shoe.

Forgot to say that the jeans look really good on you. I am moving away from full length wide legs bc they are a hassle when I go to the bathroom. I don’t want the wide bottoms dragging on the floor so I have to awkwardly hold them up while using the toilet. It looks like Irina’s (also very attractive) jeans are cropped which might solve the bathroom problem. Or maybe higher heels? Or maybe I am too picky?

As for the boots - that extra long toe box is sooooooo '90s!

You can pop paper towel in the points of you like. If they are comfy and you like the look - don't worry about it.

I like the jeans on you. I'm still not used to the two tone look, but I'd say these look very smart on you.

As for the boots, in the old-old days we used to stuff kleenexes or toilet paper in the toes. Necessary to keep them flat and unwrinkled and not curling up on the toes. I hope they make them better now so that this doesn't happen.

As for the boots -- super 90s fabness! I don't think you need to worry about the toes although you could try a half size down if available? Just don't wear them in Porto.

I love the jeans and booties on you. With the jeans, I can relate to feeling unsure about wide legs. I wear them and yet feel they aren't the most conventionally flattering style for me. But I have adjusted to the look, and I like having them for variety. With yours, I like how the two-tone effect provides a nice vertical line down the front.

The booties are really cool looking. I'd be worried about tripping over the long toes...because I have a tendency to do that anyway!! LOL! I don't think it's a problem for most people.

Roberta - Yes. They were petite but still too long. I couldn't wear flats with them by any means.

Irina - I'm still thinking on it. It's just too much wider than I expected.

Janet - I'm keeping the booties.

RobinF - It's too wide for me.

Kinnick - You make such a good point about pants dragging on the bathroom floor (ewwww). I can only see what it would be like in the rain.

Angie - I wish they were more of a baggy straight leg jean rather a wide leg. Regarding the boot, I think paper towels will do the trick.

Suz - Can you imagine me wearing those booties with the jeans...in Porto? Hah hah! I don't plan on taking those boots to Porto, but possible the chunky uniqlo.

Love the jeans and the boots. The length of the toe box looks fine to me as long as the fit is good.

Great jeans, the two toned look is so fun! The toe box on the boots, I think that's bound to happen with that shape of boot. As long as you're toes are comfortable and you don't have any heel slippage then the fit should be fine.

Jeans look great on you. I am only 5 foot 1 (how tall are you?) and only just got my first pair of wide legs last week!
Mine were petite and the perfect length without any hemming, which is a huge benefit. I have hemmed so many pants over the decades and get so tired of it.
