Still struggling with too-shadowy pics; thanks for bearing with these. There may be some technology in my life in the near future with a better camera!

I worked on my wardrobe a lot during 2014; these WIW's show some of the new additions and give an idea of some of the outfits I typically wear for work these days. I want to become better at selecting clothing and styles which are flattering; I'm also working out what my style descriptors are; your observations and feedback are valued and appreciated.

1. Gap navy tweed moto jacket with recently-acquired Classiques Entier navy lace pencil skirt. At first I tried the outfit with a navy turtleneck and also with a white blouse but, on that particular day, felt happiest with my fuchsia sweater contrasting with the navy.

2. A Target-brand sweater from last year, paired with the Banana Republic trousers I purchased in fall. I'm finding I really enjoy wearing white and winter white and intend to add more of these light, bright colors in the future.

3. Another Target purchase--a sort of poncho-esque cardigan. I first wore it with black jeans and then thought I'd do my own take on the skirted leggings look. I wore my black pencil skirt and black leggings, along with a Gap black merino turtleneck sweater.

4. And, finally, a December holiday outfit. I wore this to a Christmas party with the adult choir from the church where I work. The shirt is several years old and might be on its way out of my closet, but it's a fun shirt and you can get a better look at my face than my usual WIW's show.
