I'm leaving in three hours for the weekend and I just now discovered, while packing, that I sadly lack stylish (and warm) tops. I feel like most of them are just too worn out. All my cardigans desperately need to be replaced for all intents and purposes and and I don't have any stylish and warm sweaters. It's been cold the last few days and I had problems to find something cozy to wear that didn't look bad or frumpy next to my skirts, fab new jeans and scarves.
Here's my resolution: For the next few weeks I'm shopping ONLY tops and I'll ignore everything else. The only exception is the winter coat I still need. AND I'm only going to buy knits (for cardigans and sweaters) and woven shirts! I just don't want to buy any sweatshirt or T-shirt fabrics anymore - I feel like I want to evolve my style to be a bit more dressy overall. The only stretchy (T-shirt) fabric items that will be allowed are tops for layering, like the purple tissue turtleneck I bought this week. I just hope I'm going to be lucky, because I usually find that wovens are hard to fit.
What do you think? It would be great if you could help me to stay firm in this matter!
