My 14 year old would be similar with a bit of red thrown in for good measure instead of the purple.

I'm certain I sent him off to school with some burgundy, red and white. Judging from the amount of socks and underwear, this seems to be about 2 weeks of dirty clothes. He's home for a month. The ONLY thing he packed was his dirty laundry. Quite brilliant, I think!

I have it on good authority that Santa is bringing him a burgundy gym shirt. I may have to re-think that!

Now, this is the most color coordinated wardrobe I've ever seen, we should learn from your DS's conscious (or even unconscious-it does not matter at all!) dedication to his best colors, wow!:-)

Actually, if that's all of his laundry, that's not all that bad. What I love and envy about men (at least in my dh's case) is that mood never comes into play. Warm=t-shirt; cold=sweater; warm=shorts; cold=jeans.

LOL! You are the nicest mom! I don't fold my kids laundry anymore. The last time my 8-year old started complaining I told him to stop because no matter how much he complains I am never, ever folding his laundry ever again so he better just get used to it. I think I finally got through to him because he's stopped complaining lately.

I have the same grey blue black base. I may buy a few things a year that aren't one of these colors. Those tend to be blue based tones, and they have to mix well with the base colors. It does make for easy mixing.

Oh, that's funny. My son , who is 15, has a very similar wardrobe, except for the purple.

I have to say that about 3 years ago, I also went toward a color palette....and it has worked wonders for me. I really like it. Though I do have more variation than you son. LOL

I bet you miss him when he's away. I'd wash my boy's clothes, too, if he came home for a holiday : )
