Yesterday's outfit was my copycat from one of my favorite blogs, Karla's Closet I used a cut-up, unisex tee, plus an old-but-loved skirt, and some sandals. I wasn't wearing any accessories when I took this photo, but I wound up wearing my pearl studs. A pair of gold hoops that has an actual secure post to hold the earring to my ear, is on my purchasing radar.

The second outfit was last night: I went out to a fancy-ish dinner with friends, and wore my absolutely favorite old Kamali for Everlast skirt. I am going to be beside myself when this skirt finally dies. I wear it EVERYWHERE. Except weddings. I wore it with a black top, heels, a silver chain, and a man's watch.

The third outfit is today. I dug out some BR denim crops, rolled them up a couple of times, and had planned to be Cha Cha Digregorio with some pumps and a close-fitted top with a collar I could flip up. But the reality is, I am feeling too lazy to be Cha Cha. My eye fell on this Breton top, that was sitting on a purge pile, and I remembered I had some old Repetto ballerinas languishing in my closet. So I decided to be Leslie Caron today, instead.

Sorry, Cha Cha. Next time.

#1 My inspiration, from Karla's Closet
#2-3 My take on the outfit
#4-5 Out to dinner. #5 shows the drape of the skirt
#6-7 Today's outfit. I thought I would try a semi-tuck and add a belt, but I didn't like the way it interrupted the pattern, so I went with an untucked top.

(Please disregard the mess in the background. I am pulling together costumes for DragonCon)
