A couple of spring/ summer wardrobe additions

These are not styled just 'show and tell' and checking no one can see cellulite through the white trousers!!!

Pics 1,2,3 Khaki shorts

Pics 4,5,6 White trousers

Pics 7,8,9 White sandals

This is the sum total of 1.5 hours at one of the largest M&S stores in the UK!!! x

ETA- Must get nude knickers for the white trousers!!

ETA 2 - Have added another piccie taken in daylight with white undies under the white pants x

I think the white trousers are the winner of the bunch! (with nude undies lol). Maybe shorts that come in a bit at the knee would be better? I know I have trouble with bermuda lengths when they go straight down with no taper.

Great sandals! To Heather's point - very retro.

How do you feel about wearing the white wide legs with flats only, Louise? They fit really well.

I really like the fit of the Bermudas - they are almost like culottes, which I personally find adorable. I'm not used to you in olive greens though - do you have the tops to go with them other than white?

I am not crazy about the pants Louise.The fabric looks very thin and your underwear might show even if you wear nude ones. Are you comfortable with that?

Sandals look great, those you should keep! I think white pants could work with nude seamless panties, khaki shorts are keepers in MHO!

I love the shorts and the sandals, but I agree that the white pants are too see-through, even absent the dark underwear problem.

Mo ~ I usually prefer more tapered shorts too but I seem to be really struggling with fit at the moment.

Angie ~ I'm glad the sandals are 'retro' as opposed to 'grannyish'! they are M&S footglove again, I am in love with that brand my feet are getting so fussy as I get older.
Due to fussy feet I have all but given up on heels anything above 40mm, I just can't spend the whole day in anything higher. As you know I like variety and couldn't bear to have a pair of pants that I can only wear with one pair of shoes so I think my compromise has to be to be happy with flats and wide legs.
Knowing me I will probably throw on anything and everything with the olive green shorts!!! What colours do you think will work best?

Bella & Jonesy ~ I think the camera flash is doing strange things as the fabric is much thicker than linen more like a thin denim.

Taylor ~ I love red toes too

Renata and Mary K ~ I think today's plan needs to be to see if I can find some nude undies and take some more piccies x

I think the fit of the pants is very nice but they do have a tendency to be a touch transparent. I think a nude boyshort would be your best under option. Remember that being out in the sun is probably similar to a camera flash.

You have a really pretty shape and I'm not sure that the shorts are showing it to its best advantage. Perhaps too much volume.

LOVE the fit of the white wide-leg pants, and they certainly work much better with fleshy underwear Sandals are great too. Is the material of the shorts lighter/flowy or heavier/denimy? I like them with the idea of a lighter/flowier material.

Your posts are always funny. I like the comment about nude knickers! Don't we all need a couple of pairs of them. I live in my nude bra in the summer.

I like your choices, too, btw -- particularly the white trousers. Don't you have a lovely tiny waist!

Aida the shorts are a silky cotton type material says tencel in the label?
elisabeth gald I make you laugh, my teeny waist used to be my biggest dressing issue as I though it made my hips look bigger now I show it off and no one notices the big hips!!
