A couple of recipes FOR South African Chutney

I am thinking of making one of these instead of ordering SA chutney online (which is $$$) so I can make Angie's awesome looking recipes. Here are two recipes that claim to be authentic (one says it's a recipe for Mrs Balls!).

How much is it to order the SA chutney? I have to say that I wouldn’t put in the effort for a couple of extra dollars but then I don’t know what the damage is. I order a whole slew of items in one go and this warrants the shipping cost.

I posted the salmon pate a while ago. I stopped posting recipes because I felt people had lost interest. We actually had the crab salad for supper tonight! But here is the salmon pate recipe:

Brianna, when I went googling for SA chutney, it was $4.99 - is it the shipping that makes it expensive? I didn't try adding it to the shopping cart so it could be that the shipping it quite high.

Angie - far from losing interests in your recipes, I have been sitting at my computer hitting the "refresh" button for weeks, waiting for the next one... Very, very interested!

Brianna, thanks for posting those! Angie, I would like some more recipes. I've been dreaming about the salmon pate recipe..mm....I just got stuck on finding peppadews. I was trying to find something that could work in it's place, like maybe sweeter jarred peppers, and add in something spicy, like chili powder to ad a bit of bite.

Yep, it's the shipping--between 8 and 11 dollars. I don't have enough stuff to order ATM to make it worthwhile and can't really justify a $16 jar of chutney.

Angie, I definitely hadn't lost interest, I just didn't want to pester you for more recipes! I saw the salmon one when you originally posted it and want to make it--I thought there was a crab one you were going to post, too. That's what I meant.

Never seen peppadews here either.
