A couple of recent outfits

1. Tried wearing my new boots (bought to wear with skinnies) with a skirt (first time I fitted that skirt post preg!)

Anne -- great outfit with the skirt and black tutleneck, especially with the scarf. And I think that you look great in the asymmetrical top, it really shows off your figure.

What color are the tights you're wearing with the skirt?

Dani - the tights were just black ones.

I was a bit uncertain about the brown (boots) with black (tights and turtleneck), and about whther the boots were OK to wear with a skirt. Nice to get a tick!

I like the look of that asymetrical top too! Just got to get used to the feel of having a bare shoulder.

Anne, I like the way you've combined black and brown in the first outfit. I think the brown is light enough to wear with black in the way Angie describes favorably. That purple is a good color for you!

I wondered about the feel of the asymmetrical top...I think it would drive me crazy!

Becky, thanks for reminding me about Angie's take on brown boots with black. (You are extremely good at remembering and applying Angie!) Actually I think it was her post that made me think of wearing them, which I had forgotten.
I do like purple!

Nicole. Thanks! Great to know about the skirt length. I am so glad I bought those boots. They were the most expensive footwear I have ever bought (about $180) but are so comfortable I have walked my daughter to school in them (about a mile away), and it now seems, versatile enough to wear for both skirts and pants. The heels need to get repaired already though ;-(

I don't think the purple top is long enough for skinnies or leggings - one side is fairly high up and as a pear, I need more coverage!
