A couple of quick NAS reviews with terrible photos (I hadn’t realized my mirror was so dusty, yikes) since I don’t think I’ve seen these items reviewed yet.

Schutz Maurissa boot: This was the one item I was absolutely certain I was going to order from NAS, because they hit all my personal style buttons, and they did not disappoint. They fit narrow through the instep, which is good for me with my low volume feet, but don’t seem to pinch at the bunion area. I don’t think they’d work for anyone with wide or high-volume feet. They are also I would say a medium weight, less than a pair of Docs for sure but not super lightweight. The leather seems quite nice too, slightly stiff around the ankle right now but I’m sure it’ll relax with a couple of wears.

Anyway, I would highly recommend these for anyone with narrow-to-medium feet who likes the aesthetic!

Pendleton teal raincoat: This one is going back. It’s quite overwhelming on me, possibly too large (but a smaller size would be too tight around the hips, I think) and definitely too long. On me (5’3.5”) it’s knee length. I’d say it runs large, especially up top. It’s also heavier than I had expected with a quilted lining. I had wanted a more versatile raincoat that I could wear in milder rainy weather, and for me at least this is too warm especially with the waterproof outer. I feel a bit like I’m wearing a sleeping bag - the same way I feel in a lot of longer puffers. The hood is also quite large and rather stiff, although that may soften up with wear.

The color on this one is a darker teal than it appears on my computer screen for the record. I don’t mind as I love dark teal but it’s something to be aware of. It felt well made although the zipper seemed a bit sticky on the one I got.
