A couple of outfits and a knock-off skirt

Here is an outfit I wore to work on Saturday, and an outfit I changed into for a casual dinner. My old camera died so these are on the old old camera and not the best pics - sorry I look like a zombie, which is how I felt.

Outfit 1: old argyle sweater, old ponte skinnies, new Uggs
Outfit 2: Current/Elliott sweatshirt and slouchy skinny Hudson grey chinos, both from consignment, with Ugg boots in Chelsea form. I realize the boots look too tall to some, but this is how I've been seeing a lot of tall boots fit lately, probably to allow the knee to bend!

Last, this scuba skirt from Penney's was a mere $9 and looks to me like a knock-off of Mary Katrantzou designs.

I originally grabbed an XS without trying on but it's not that stretchy so I needed a S. If anyone wants the XS I'm happy to mail it off for $9 plus shipping!

Ooh, I love #1!!! I think the boots rock with the ponte pants. And to refer back to some of the comments on your other tunic post, I think this tunic is a perfect length. Just one comment from the peanut gallery.

And wow, do you think I'd fit into the XS? I heart MK prints but will probably never afford the real thing.

While I love the sweater in #1 I think the partial tuck mid-sweater needs to grow on me a bit. Overall, great outfit. I like the tall boots but think the real test of their height will be pairing them with a contrasting color.

#2 gets lots of love. It works really well as an all neutral with lots of interest. I especially love the top.

The colors in the skirt remind me of a kaleidoscope. I hope someone snaps it up. Very pretty.

I can't say which of the two I love more .... I finally decided on number two because it seems so fresh to me.

SOrry AG. I was looking on a smaller screen and the angle looked like the corner was tucked. I took a closer look and love the detail now that I see there isn't a "bunch" there.

I am chuckling that this sweater in #1 is "old" when it is only from last year? Or am I mistaken? Anyway, it looks great, as does the grey outfit. Love that one especially!

I love both and maybe #2 a smidgen more for a couple of reasons. I also have that argyle sweatshirt and I seldom wear it, but on you, the fit and colors work really well.

The animal print (is it a cheetah?) top and slouchy pants, in #2, look so modern on you and you've inspired me to pull out a similar top (darker charcoal with same spots) that I bought in the desert, in the heat of summer, and that can now be worn during these cooler days.

Do you think that skirt would fit me and/or my style? It's very pretty; I just don't know how short it is.
