A couple of new dresses

Having my same old problem thought they looked great in the shop fitting room then not so sure when i try them on at home!
1st 1 look abit 1940's tea dress ish

Does it look a bit big round the hips?

2nd is a grecain typpe dress thinking good for dressier do's

Love the way it fits under the bust but does that ion turn make me look a bit pregenant!

Both dresses fit you beautifully and no the blue one does not make you look pregnant at all.
The first one is a perfect candidate for a tough edge boot OR jacket IMO.

Great dresses! I'm not sure if the first one is a size bigger around the hips or not. Maybe it is the picture, but have you tried a smaller size?

Couldn't try on smaller size as it was in sale but it's the size i usually wear from that shop and same size as the blue one, crazy how 2 dresses same size from same shop can look different x

The first one is so sweet Loulou and that second one is fantastic (that colour on you, wow!!). I agree with Angie, let's see them all "Loulou'ed up";-)

I love the idea of a coloured waist cinching belt with the first dress, for a real pop of 40's glamour with a modern twist. I also love the idea of the tough boots with this dress.

The second would look fabulous with a metallic gladiator sandal and bangles.

Both dresses fit perfectly.

In addition to these dresses, I am also looking forward to seeing those purple booties come out to play this fall

Ooooh thanks for all the ideas ladies, Laura you've given me an idea the black dress, fishnet tights and the purple booties.
Roseandjoan i'll admit i hadn't got as far as thoughts on styling the blue dress so i'll be trying your idea 1st thanks, and i've got a purple waist belt which i'll try with the black dress.
They are just on the line drying after being washed so hopefully i can wear the black one tommorrow x
