I bought a necklace and a pendant in the last couple of days at JCrew and Loft, respectively. I am usually drawn to fairly simple necklaces that do not look very frilly, are not too conspicuous (no statement necklaces or anything very large), and are somewhat edgy or vintage-looking.

A lot of the pendants that I have are very dainty and relatively short so they don't always work well to accessorize outfits, especially the more casual ones. I cannot decide whether these new necklaces are fun or a bit predictable. Especially the blue/gold nautical-looking beads from JCrew - as soon as I saw them, I thought "stripes" but then I could not decide whether this was such an obvious combination as to be boring.

What do you think? Worth keeping? The last picture shows the two new necklaces (top) with the two that I already have, while the first picture is a comparison of the new pendant (left) with an old necklace (right).

I am also testing out the new Oroblu micro fishnets (#1) to see if Crown Vintage oxfords can work with skirts. This outfit feels a bit "ladies who lunch) to me but maybe it's OK.
