Hi ladies,
I've been updating a couple of things for fall, and I will start to trot them out in the coming days. Tomorrow *might* see the debut of a HEWI, and there's a pant suit in the offing, but for now I focus on two accessories that I'm hoping will go the distance for me this fall.
Please take note of both the shoes and the bag in these pictures and let me know truthfully if they're up to par.
The shoes are, I suppose, a hybrid of slipper flat and ballet flat. They came in the most adorable black and cobalt blue houndstooth pattern, but I opted for the more versatile slate and black. For those that don't know me, one way my blindness manifests itself in my sartorial choices is to make me very fond of neutral accessories. With those in the mix, I don't have to worry about inadvertent clashing that would not jibe at all with my polished style. Anyway, do you think these will work?
Do be candid, as they were expensive.
As for the bag, I confess you'll have to do some pretty smooth talking to get me to relinquish this. I love it, and the reactions at the office the past couple of days have been...encouraging, to say the least. This bag is the Brahmin Duxbury satchel. I suspect I may have an YLF bag twinsie out there, but we shall see.
I originally paired this dress with my blush Ecco Soft 7 sneaks, and I can show you that outfit another time. It felt weirdly good!
Anyway, please do advise on these accessories. And knock on wood that I can model a long-sought trench for you tomorrow.
