Angie's blog post today will surely set the forum on it's head - I anticipate a number of exciting denim on denim outfits inspired by it. My own denim shirt is a few months old, and I have experimented a little with it already. It is quite soft, but I would like it to be even softer and more drapey. I'm considering getting a chambray shirt, too, but maybe not yet.
This time I'm analyzing some older outfits by comparing them to the formula Angie provided today. They could all easily be improved by adding/swapping some elements, it think. Hear me out:
#1: Chunky necklace, red shoes, black blazer. Untucked. Maybe a tuck & belt would look better?
#2: With trench, belt and boots. I miss the feminine statement here. What about a very feminine bag?
#3: With green blazer, white belt, oxfords (DD's). Again, the girly element like more feminine shoes or a statement necklace would improve the outfit.
#4: This has been shown before: Denim shirt, white jeans, orange wedges. I think it could benefit from a pretty bag.
Soooo - does this mean that I need to find a statement necklace and a pretty bag? I think so
Thanks for reading and looking. What would you do to improve these outfits?
