A "Casual Neutral Look for Less" For Me

I really liked Angie's casual neutral look so I tried it with what I have in my wardrobe. I stay away from high contrast outfits because of my short waist but I don't think that this looks terrible on me. I should have done the photos over because of the messy hair (especially the back), and the fringe on the jeans need more work (I just hacked them yesterday and the fringe should probably be longer). Thanks Angie for this inspiration - I have a new outfit!!

Looks great Bonnie! I was thinking of doing something similar but right now it's so hot I'd have to do it with denim shorts and a white tee I'm afraid.

texstyle: Thank you. I live in SW AZ and it's raining right now. A few days ago it was almost 100. It's usually very hot here this time of year but we've had a couple of rainy days.

shedev: Thanks. Tucking tops is a real problem for me and this tunic button down shirt helps me hide my short waistedness.

Suz: Thank you. I try to following the rule of thirds and this outfit cuts me in half but somehow I kind of like it, too.

Sisi: Thank you. I highlight just the top layers of my hair and it looks better neatly brushed. If I highlighted all of my hair, it would look like I had a bush on my head.
