I've been focused on some other things recently and have deprioritized posting, but my "wear my clothes" project continues apace and today the stars aligned for a check-in.

Earlier this year, I targeted 41 garments from 2022 and previous years to try to push over the 30 wears line this year. I'm down to 35 garments on that list now, with another 5 over 25 wears. Slowly but surely, I'm wearing my clothes.

So far, it's been an unseasonably cool summer for us, so my warm weather clothing hasn't gotten much play. With temps lingering in the 70s, I've been mostly concerned with transitional clothing so far this year.

I bought four new items in May and June, bringing my total for 2023 so far to 13. A new jumpsuit from Known Supply has been an easy solution for this summer's cool mornings and mild afternoons. Two new graphic tees get paired with jeans or skirts for both theme park days and quiet weekends. And my new AS98 sandals feel like an upgrade from my worn-out olive Miz Mooz pair. AS98's Italian leather is velvety soft.

I haven't been taking a lot of WIW pics, but I'm in full-on Gudrun Sjoden lagenlook today. I thought the new sandals might toughen things up a little, but I think they might just cut off my ankles in an awkward way here. Tying the overdress did add a little shape and the outfit feels fun and interesting to me, even if it's not quite the most flattering.
