My son's roommate at art school is from Beijing. He graduated two weeks ago and his mother, aunt, and grandfather traveled to NYC for the graduation.
I've never met them, but they brought me this stunning, handmade and handpainted, completely usable parasol.
I took it to NYC with me last weekend when my son and I were going to do a Brooklyn street art walk.
