On the 9th July it will be Angie’s birthday. To celebrate on the forum, I thought I would wear an outfit that sparked joy, wearing something that I loved. I hope some forum members will join me in this challenge as a tribute to Angie.

I know that YLF has helped me be more adventurous in what I wear. As a teen and young adult, I was fearless and had a sense of self. But with work and conforming to a required professional uniform to be taken seriously at work and then add motherhood, in my 40”s I most definitely felt that I had lost my way. Dressing in nice yet safe and age appropriate attire. Fashion had lost its fun for me.

Finding YLF and the beautiful and stylish real women on the forum was a revelation, guiding me back to fun in a real and authentic way. So Angie, thank you and wishing you a wonderful birthday week.

To those in America, happy Independence Day, May the celebrations begin.

Hmm.... now I have 5 days to plan my special outfit.
