What are your thoughts on 6pm.com? I have ordered from them before, and except for some customer support issues, have been satisfied.

I purchased some booties from another retailer (maybe Nordstrom...don't remember) a couple of months ago, and liked them so much that I have been stalking the booties in another color. They recently showed up on 6pm.com at a MUCH better price than anywhere else. As a matter of fact, Nordstrom is still carrying them for almost $70 dollars more.

So convince me that the cheaper booties at 6pm.com are the same as the Nordstrom ones. They're not seconds are they?

I have been a customer of 6PM since they were their own company. Then Zappo's bought them out and put their sale items on their site. Then Amazon bought Zappo's so you are really dealing with Amazon when you purchase from 6PM now. I try to purchase from the Amazon site when I purchase 6PM merchandise so I can get the free returns. It used to be you had to pay for return shipping when you purchased from 6PM but that may have changed.

No, they're not seconds. 6pm is a sister site to zappos (which is part of rhe amazon nation). Typically, they are very aware of what retail I others are at,and what retail they need to be to sellthru their inventory.

I've never had problems with 6pm, although I prefer to order from Zappos or Nordstrom if the price delta isn't that much; 6pm does not offer free returns, and that can get pricey with shoes. Earlier this year I ordered several things from them at once, most of which didn't work out, and I ended up spending almost 20 bucks on return shipping. Now I only order from them if it's a brand and style that I already know the fit of.

(deb, do you get free return shipping through Amazon because you have Prime, or is it for everyone? If the latter, I'll have to try it in the future.)

I've had decent luck with 6pm, but only buy brands I know fit because I hate to pay to return them. If Nordstrom has the same boots they will price match for you most times. Well worth a chat.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I came across a coupon for 6pm that knocked the price down to 50% off Nordstroms so I couldn't refuse LOL. For that price, I will deal. Hopefully, the boots will be fine, quality-wise. I already have the same ones in another color so the sizing should not be an issue.

Jjsloane, I had poked around the Nordstrom site and it says they price match from similar retailers only and DO NOT price match from discount sites.

I just wanted to reiterate that 6pm is the sister site of Zappos. Although they technically don't offer free returns, each anc every time I have called them, they have given me free return shipping. Once I just called to ask them to resend the return forms to print as my printer had malfunctioned - it was completely my issue. As the guy was processing those forms, he chatted with me about the shoes, why I was returning, etc. And then at the end he said that since I had been helpful in reviewing the shoes, he was going to make shipping free. And if there is ever a flaw or something wrong with what they send, 6pm will have you ship them back for free.

So my opinion of 6pm is fab. Almost as good as Zappos!

My experience was the goods were good but the customer service was the worst. They also seem to use UPS exclusively, which is pure torture for me.

Does anybody know why 6pm doesn't offer a Review feature? (Or I just couldn't find it?) I end up searching other sites for reviews of items I see there, but those are not always available.

Looks like you are all sorted.

I have shopped there rarely, and usually for DD's shoes as I cringe to pay full price for shoes she'll wear 6 months!

I will say I have found the same shoes at Zappos for right around the same price as 6pm. And Zappos has fantastic customer service, and free returns. Worth a few extra dollars if close in price to me.

I order from them regularly, but only trusted brands. I had to cut my 18yo daughter off, however, when she became too return happy.

Aquamarine - I agree with all of the above. I bought two pairs of aquatalia booties the fetch and famous for 60% off. Other than having to pay return shipping, if you know what you want awesome way to get a great product at a reduced price.
