5050 and cadet

Angie, I remember you have a pair of 5050, and it looks great on you! I'm inspired to get first OTN boots.

I'm 5'3 with thin calves, and wear size 6 shoes. I went to Nordstrom store, they only have cadet available, 6 is too big for me, 5.5 feels right, so i took home. Online has both 5050 and Cadet, review says 5050 is good for thin calves, and cadet is for wide calves; 5050 runs small. Now i'm confused, i'm thinking about to return cadet and order 5050 online, but not sure which size i should order.

Angie, what's the difference between 5050 and cadet?

I am not sure about the difference. Can you try both styles and make a decision at home? If you post pictures, we can help you with that decision if you like

As far as sizes go - stick to 6.

Thanks Angie. The store doesn't carry 5050, so I can't compare the look.

Do you feel 5050 is very tight and difficult to get on? The cadet I got is very tight if I wear skinny jeans, a bit loose if wear bare feet. Do you have the same experience with 5050?
