4 Items Cancelled!

I've been receiving e-mail after e-mail from Nordstrom saying parts of my order have been cancelled. So far, it's been the black Longchamp Le Pliage bag, a plaid shirtdress (cancelled twice), and a gear t-shirt. These were ordered Friday and Saturday. Wonder how many more cancellations I'll get?

I also ordered the black Le Pliage on July 15 and it's getting here Thursday. Those went fast! The berry/purple one arrived today, but I'm leaning toward keeping the black. If you're interested in the purple one and it's out of stock, I'd be happy to sell it to you for what I paid. Ditto if I change my mind about keeping the black.

Very sad! I have had that happen many times with Nordstrom online, but not yet with NAS. I suspect people will return a lot of their initial orders so you may still have a chance. I know I will because I ordered multiple sizes of the same item. I'm heading to retune some items tomorrow. We have a Nordstrom Rack that opened recently.

If they come back in stock, do they reach out to you to let you re-order? It seems the right thing to do.

That is very annoying. But there is a lot of restocking as people receive and return their purchases.

My order just disappeared. I went to check on it and they didn't have a record of it. One piece was out of stock but I reordered the other.

I haven't had any cancellations yet, but several orders have been very slow to ship, making me worry about low stock.

Hopefully you can reorder. There's usually a carousel of returns that means lots of things will come back in stock once people start returning their initial orders.

What a bummer! I have gotten very lucky, I guess. The three items I ordered were shipped promptly. The two tops ordered last week got here yesterday afternoon, and the dress I ordered yesterday has already been shipped and is expected to get to me on Friday. That's not bad, IMO.

Sorry to hear, Donna, this already happened to me with the Barbour jacket. My order from a few days ago hasn't shipped yet either. I don't know why this keeps happening with Nordstrom

Oh, I'm sorry! That's a lot! Hoping you didn't not order something else because you thought you were ordering one of the items that was cancelled (if that makes sense). Huge bummer. Hoping you can nab them during the next couple of weeks.

I had one item cancelled which was for me a good outcome because I was later able to get it in the color I preferred.

Boo to that! I actually cancelled my own order preemptively. It was taking so long to ship that I went to the store and ended up buying a bunch of stuff, and some of the sizes I ordered wouldn't have worked. I may decide to re-order a few things.

I got the last of the sale Le Pliages from my store in the pearl color. I'm actually more interested in a darker color, so I may end up exchanging.

All my orders are on their way (or have arrived), except for 3 Halogen cashmere sweaters - the cascading cardigan and the cocoon one. That order is still processing. I placed it days ago. Hmm.

ETA: I just looked closer and the size I thought was going to be too big and meant to cancel myself was canceled. So sometimes cancellations work in your favor!

Yes, I ordered two sizes of Angie's "twinset" track jacket and the smaller of the two cancelled. When she said it ran small, I was relieved. The Frame Denim high-low hem jeans also cancelled, which was disappointing until I read there was no way to alter them to work for a petite. I guess the cancelling gods are working for me, too!

I've never had so many cancellations, but also I've never ordered so much -- because I made it a Triple Points Day. Maybe that was the trigger? I know I can keep checking back, but any new orders won't be Triple Points.
