I'll update this post all week and edit the title when I've added additional days to the thread below.

The very cold weather, plus the inclusion of two Mondays as federal holidays (New Year's, MLK) has resulted in more casual clothes in this 30x30 than I expected. As I mentioned on Lynn's post, the dichotomy between work and weekend is more apparent in my life and I've been thinking about this a lot on my 30x30. There's clearly overlap in the clothes I wear in each category, but I've found the ratio of business corporate (0-1 day/week), business casual (2-3 day/week), smart casual (2-3 day/week), and casual (0-1 day/week) to have really changed. I would previously put the business corporate and business casual aspects of my life at 5-6 days/week and my smart casual/casual wardrobe was very limited. Even going out for meals tends to more casual outfits than previously, even at more expensive restaurants. This surprises me a bit since I'm mid-career and I used to live on the West Coast where it is more casual. Work has become more casual over my career in general. But I wonder if it's because I'm paying more attention to my wardrobe and creating outfits along the continuum where I used to only create outfits in the business corporate or business casual categories? The preponderance of business casual and smart casual might also reflect that I've chosen not to invest in some of the more corporate items (e.g., blazer, suit) during my transitional wardrobes on my weight loss journey.

I'm at home today, wearing Day 1's outfit, with black booties. Went to a yoga class and grocery shopping this morning and will be going swimming this evening, so as casual a day as a week brings.

Since I have time today, I thought I'd collate my entire list and see how many items per category I have and how frequently I've worn them thus far (Numbers pertain to order added to capsule). This will help me know what I should try to incorporate more in the next two weeks.

Bottoms:
1. Straight jeans (Days 1, 3, 8, 13, 15)
3. Boot cut dark jeans (Days 2, 5, 6, 9, 14)
10. WHBM rose ankle pants (Day 4, 11) --> moving to donate pile.
Replaced with navy full length pants (Day 18)
20. Geometric print pencil skirt (Day 10, 16)
I'd like to wear the skirt two more times in the challenge. I have a pair of navy full length pants that I pre-bought for next size. They "almost fit" and I hope that I can bring them into the 30x30 challenge soon as I desperately need to include a pair of dress pants in my wardrobe. ETA Day 18 brings in these pants for first time.

Tops:
2. Teal cowl neck (Days 1, 15)
5. Purple/black v-neck top (Day 2)
11. Burgundy shell (Day 4)
13. Teal cashmere sweater (Day 5, 14)
15. COS rust jersey top (Day 6, 12, 18)
16. Cream sleeveless shell (Day 8, 16)
17. Teal shell (Day 9)
21. Merino rust sweater (Day 10)
23. Burgundy tunic (Day 13)
I have more variety in tops than I thought, though a couple of these I've had for a few years and have been robust to my size changes (#13, # 17). I have three sweaters in the wings, waiting to possibly be added, but I keep grabbing the tunics instead. Two of the sweaters might be too big or worn and should likely move to donate pile.

Toppers:
6. Black asymmetric cardigan (Day 2)
12. Burgundy waterfall cardigan (Days 4, 8, 16)
18. Teal cardigan (Day 9)
I've worn toppers less than I typically do in the spring or fall. I think it's because I have several long sleeve tops in circulation and thus don't need them as much. I prefer the toppers over sleeveless.

Dresses:
8. Navy COS boiled wool dress (Day 3, 11,19)
I have two more dresses than I have been waiting to bring in, waiting for above freezing temperatures.

Shoes:
3. Chelsea matte Burgundy boots (Days 1, 6, 8)
7. Black 3.5" dressy booties (Days 2, 4, 10,19)
9. Burgundy suede black heel booties (Days 3)
14. Bronze booties (Day 5)
17. Black moderate heel booties (Day 9, 13, 14, 15)
22. Burgundy block heel pumps (Day 11, 12, 16, 18)
I like footwear variety, as it shows above. Yet I usually alternate even more shoes into my wardrobe, but the temperatures have been below freezing and I have no interest in wearing my pumps right now.

I have room for 7 more items in the 30x30 challenge.
