First, thanks to STERLING for proposing this challenge and for being so responsive to and supportive of all the participants!
The Challenge came at a perfect time for me, just as I was wanting to put more thought and effort into my outfits. Unfortunately, I got sick the last week of the month and stopped creating and posting outfits.
I ended up with 30 items in the capsule, although I did a few tweaks along the way. I also "cheated" a couple times and wore new purchases which weren't in the capsule. However, one takeaway was that, for me, 30 items was plenty for 30 days. And I repeated items a lot between work and casual wear. But I didn't get bored with the capsule. I knew that I was going to change some of the capsule at the end of the month--if I were going to wear just these 30 pieces for three or four months, I'm sure I'd be less content.
I could have used a few more layering shirts and will address that wardrobe hole.
I also realized--in large part because of your comments--how important scarves and necklaces are to my outfits. I'm inspired by some other Fabbers' amazing use of jewelry and want to step up my own use of necklaces.
Finally, thanks to Angie's post about white jeans, I'll definitely be looking for ways to add white to brighten fall and winter outfits.
