Am going to go this afternoon and stock up on undies. Have to go downtown anyway so I am hoping the bigger store there will have more colors of the piped blazer... although I think finding the vamp red at this point might be impossible.

Angie, the sleeves were way too long and all those pockets seemed to make me look wider than usual. If it had been otherwise perfect, I'd have considered getting involved in the complicated shortening-the-piped-sleeves project, but given that it wasn't a 10, I sent it on back.

I will just cheer you all on from the sidelines in my new Amber Sun jackets in teal AND purple!!

Oooh, Angie, good to know that they are restocking it. I guess it's too much to ask that it happens before tomorrow when the promo ends, huh? Ah, well, I'm not in a hurry anyway. I don't think I'll be able to wear it until October... it seemed quite warm.

Angie -- both! LOL, I ordered it in 3 sizes each in petite and regular, so I can't say I didn't give it a good try! The petite was a little too short overall and the regular fit better in the body but the sleeves were miles too long.

Mary, wow! I was going to suggest the regular size - it fits petites a little better apart from the sleeve length. That we sorted by boyfriending the sleeves - no alteration necessary. It's weird to me that it did not fit. Puzzled

Diana, I hope they restock the burgundy too. It flew out of stores.

It fit, it just didn't love me, you know? And I wasn't willing to give up the piping on the sleeves! So I figured it just wasn't meant to be!

I was in yesterday and didn't see anything I loved, surprisingly. Other than more BF jeans! The tipped jacket was amazing but I made the wise decision to leave it there because it's just not my style. I expect a slew of BF and jacket posts soon!

I loved that blazer, too, but most of the colors are sold out. Also, the regular seemed a bit short so I would have liked to try the tall, but it's harder to return if I order from the US. (Canada doesn't have talls )

(eta--I just looked and they charge a 6.00 fee for returns if you can't return to the store)

@MaryK: Thanks for confirming what I already thought. I tried this when we were on vacation in So Cal and loved it in the regular--except for the too long sleeves. I was debating on ordering the petite but thought it would be too short through the torso. You saved me a trip to make a return! It's a gorgeous jacket--and super comfy!

and YES, I did get the Dansko Ryders, have loved your look, they are on my feet right now (looking soooo good with my boot cuts, alas the gap BFJ's don't fit so well, I tried on my size, then a size down because the SA said they give a lot, decided on the (not sure what to call it, but dirtier wash, rather than the "cleaner" blue) and when I got them home that wash fit way snugger than the ones I initially picked (but which were gone from when I picked them up, tried them on set them down [to go find my daughter who had wandered off] and my size was gone. the only one. Back here now to get the discount code to order on line!!! and I do love these shoes.

I got the blazer too! I guess I joined the cult early This is the regular size and sleeves are way too long. I'm waiting on the petite to arrive to see how it compares.

I have not joined the BF cult ... yet but maybe before the sale is over ....
