#1- wore this to work for my self proclaimed casual Friday. I was redecorating an office and knew I'd be moving lots of furniture and crawling on the floor.

#2- worn shopping Saturday. I'm in love with this trench. I've never had a red item that felt this right. I think I've found my red.

#3- this is what I wore to work today. Comfortable low heeled shoes were the first order of business. I went through many incarnations before I ended up here. Taking pictures really does help give perspective on an outfit.

love the red trench. good.outfits,.#3 is my fave, #1 is good esp. for the day of furniture moving, you were stylish and productive yay.
yes it is amazing how snapping a pic of an outfit will give a whole new perspective, I have photographed an outfit before and changed because I didn't see what the camera sees, a learning process indeed

Isn't it a great feeling to find a coat that wonderful? It's such a treat to put on fantastic outerwear. And this definitely qualifies. I have a huge personal weakness for red coats so maybe that makes my opinion suspect. (My brother ALSO buys mostly red outerwear; we were noticing this recently and wondered if it is something in our genes!) But honestly, it's not just my own bias talking here. The coat is SOOOOO good!

Love both your other outfits, too. You look great in the stripes!

#1 is a great casual outfit for moving stuff. That red trench is delicious on you! And #3 is fab, too - it might be fun with a touch of red (shoes maybe?).

My GOODNESS but you have marvelous style Traci! I love your crawling on the floor outfit! The top with the green military jacket is a brilliant pairing and those aren't ordinary boring skinnies. I think those tough boots have a bit of a heel too? You definitely have *cool* all figured out! I love your red coat outfit, just like everyone else. Bask in *your* red; it suits you! And for some reason the deceptive simplicity of the last outfit really catches my eye as well. I love the buttons down the front of the skirt, I love all striped tops presently and the necklace is the creme de la creme. You put all of this together around comfortable shoes? You are my hero(ine).

Traci: The outfits are all great, but most impressive are the little details -- the perfectly cuffed jeans, the arty way you've tied the lovely red trench, the statement necklace to tie the top and bottom together. (insert clapping here)

Outfit #1 is knocking me out - the jeans fit you so well and the stripes with olive jacket are great. I can see why the red trench is a fave as it fits so well and just brings out a radiance in your face. You do the stripe t very well paired with a simple skirt and necklace - very Parisian.
I could see the red trench slipping over that nicely :0

Great WIW's! I really love 1 probably because it's something I could totally find myself wearing : ) The army jacket is just so perfect with the faded jeans. You certainly have found your red. It's spectacular on you. Great button skirt and stripey top in 3--the proportions are perfect-o! I totally agree that photos really help. I'm almost scared to go out in something that I haven't "photo tested" first.

Thanks for the kind words. You can't really see it in the pictures, but another tweak I did after taking picture outfits was to color my hair red. It's a very warm, ginger color that is helping me feel more pulled together.

Congratulations on finding the perfect trench and in a delicious colour, too! By all accounts this is a HUGE accomplishment, going by the trouble other ladies on the forum have been having with theirs. That hair-colour sounds like a great idea, seeing that you wear red so well.

Love how the addition of a simple, chunky necklace elevates the already chic outfit in the last photo!

I love all the outfits! Each one is interesting to look at and well suited to the day's activities. That red on you is sublime! I love the the way you paired the nude shoes with the last look also. They are all beautiful on you and I would love to wear them myself!
