Taking a quick moment to celebrate great customer service.

DS is working In D.C., and learning the ins and outs of conservative corporate wear (suitcoats on at all times in the office). So as you’d expect there has been a default of solid suit+solid shirt+tie. For Christmas we wanted to get him a new suit, but I wanted him to also explore some new ideas for color and pattern, so I booked a 1 hour consult with a men’s shopper.

Our stylist did a great job listening and bringing items that would fit a recent college grad in a conservative environment, He tried 5 different suits with various shirt combos, and we walked out with a gorgeous Ted Baker navy plaid suit, a light green with navy shirt, a navy with white print tie, and a pair of tan loafers. But the best part was seeing DS’s smile get bigger as he tried on each item. What a great experience and fabulous outcome.
