2nd try for green top - it is going back

Today I tried the difficult ones in a different way. Do you like this better? Or am I fooling myself...
I am not sure about the grey top, perhaps better if I pull the pink camisole up a bit so it ends under the knot? It is an acrylic/wool blend and it is a bit itchy. Could get better after washing, could stay the same... Maybe it is just the hot weather...

You are so pretty, and the green top doesn't do you justice in my opinion--the fit isn't flattering in the torso. I vote a big "no" for anything itchy, too--in my experience itchy items get worse, not better, over time.

if it itches now, it's going to keep itching... definitely return.

as far as the first one, I still don't like all the horizontal lines. When I"m undecided, I usually hang it in my closet for a week, try it on a few more times, and revisit the pictures. Usually after a week of this I am able to make a clear decision. It is hard to separate from the "love at first sight" feelings from the store in the first few days after a new purchase.... giving myself a week or so helps me make an unbiased decision.

I think that is a good idea, queenmum (Karen? Karin? I think I am near, but it is safer to use your screenname), except I have only a week to think as the shop has a 8 day return policy (which is not too uncommon over here).

I agree with the others !!! The green top doesn't come close to doing you justice. You have posted some great looks before and this in comparison is, well, no comparison. I also agree that if you feel unsure or uncomfortable ( itchy) don't settle for that, you deserve better. You go girl !

OK girls, thank you for your wisdom. I will return both items on Tuesday. I can't do it tomorrow as the girls are so very busy with all those new customers and Saturday is a very busy day for them. I need to go in town on Tuesday anyway to do groceries.

I see you already decided, and it is a good decision. I think that cowl neckline is really pretty on you, but the rest of the top just isn't good enough for lovely you!

I love the cowl neckline on you, but it's too clingy around the middle. Definitely look for more cowl necks, though.
