$250 store credit at Zappos to blow

I'm fuming a little because (stupid me) cancelled a cc associated with Paypal, and now I can't get my money back for a pair of boots that don't fit (don't ask, I should have tried them on more thoroughly when they came, and now I realize they are too gapey for my calves - darn YLF education).

I guess I have to go for store credit...

Do I save my pennies and pony up for the Rory scunch in natural? (Wish they'd go on sale!)

I know it pretty much sucks to have a pair of boots you can't use, but now you have such a great head-start on those Fryes! I strongly suggest you save up for whatever pair of Fryes you covet the most. The only hard part will be narrowing it down!
Can you sell the other boots on Ebay or something similar? Or offer them up to anyone on the forum?

I personally would go for the boots - I love those boots on Angie! However you should decide what do you really need and /or what makes you happy...

I'm confused... did you return the boots? are you still looking for shoes? the store credit should be good for like forever so you shouldn't have to feel that you have to spend it right now.

Queenie - no, I don't have to spend it right now, that's why I was considering returning it for store credit and working towards the Fryes. For various reasons, store credit is my only option. I just wish I had been a little smarter, and I could have just gotten the money back in my account (perhaps to spend on AT and ATL sale stuff...drool).

Eep, I got sidetracked and forgot to give my response for MPJ! Since you'll have the credit at Zappos for a good long while, take your time to spend it and use it on something you love. Like those Fryes.

It's too bad they don't have those animal print flats in your size, they are super cute! But saving up for something splurge-y like the Fryes gets my vote
