Fashiontern I was thinking of the running joke from the British comedy The IT crowd - I hadn't heard the version you linked to
Kkards - you are probably right about the sandals not working but I'm not quite certain and I want to give them a bit more time. Mainly because my feet usually need time every summer to adjust to any pair of sandals. I think that even if I do replace them in the position of everyday casual sandal I may keep them for something like going to the beach (I tend to keep my sandals until the soles literally crack apart)
Thanks for the encouragement Helena and Chirico.
I'm thinking of adding a new bag to my 2021 list too, but trying to work out what form to take. Because of Covid I take my laptop etc home with me each day I work, I also ride my bike into work in the summer. Both things mean that I'm just using my backpack. My handbag for non working days is big and a bit cracked. Wondering about getting a smaller one that I can either tuck inside my backpack or keep at work for going out at lunch. Still pondering. I tend to just take a shopping bag out at lunch which isn't a super classy look!
