I feel confident about my style and my wardrobe has very few gaps. For 2020, my purchases will be to fill in gaps, or to replace items that are worn or do not serve me well.
1. Goodbye Aasics Nimbus! Welcome New Balance Fresh Foam 1080K! The New Balance shoes were my first purchase of 2020. I was reluctant to change loyalty since Aasics have successfully carried me through many miles, but the subtle changes in fit over the past few years do not work well for my feet.
2. Tall/Long leg length SPF travel pants: I have struggled to find quality high rise travel pants that are long enough for my legs, not too large for my frame, do not stretch out as you wear them, etc. The best I have found come from a company called Clothing Arts. They are well constructed, lightweight but durable, and have interior pockets with zippers to deter theft and loss of small items. They have adjustable length tabs to secure rolled hems. I appreciate the ability to vary their length depending on weather, activity, etc. The talls are 34", but they come in regular (32") and petite lengths(29") as well. I purchased one pair, and have two more on order in different colors. The tall sizes range from 2-18!
