Always trying's post on new trends had be thinking about what old trends I had embraced or experimented with over the year. You know, those classic pieces that have been around for decades, but that you've consistently avoided.
Last week, I wore a body con dress for the first time to a very special event. I was traveling and didn't have a dress for the occasion, because the lack of fancy events in my life in the US meant that my few dressy pieces were in Canada. The Black Halo Jackie O dress, covering both my elbows and knees, caught my fancy. It's a true body con, but I feel very feminine in it because of how it defines the waist and flatters the lumps and bumps of my lower half.
