UGH. This colour looks HORRIBLE on me.

Oh well, I don't mind sitting this one out (and emerald green and tangerine orange).

It's a beautiful color, but purples do not flatter me. I'll pass on this one for myself.

A nice enough color, which I shall enjoy on others I'm more of a violet or pale-periwinkle gal myself.

This is of the few pastels I could wear, but still not crazy about a pastel--too sweet and candy-like for my tastes. Pretty on others, though.

Good to know. But whatever happened to that emerald green color for 2013? I still want to see more of it. And I loved the coral color for 2012.

Too muddy and pastel for me.

Looks as if I am one of the few who will welcome it! Heheheh, more goodies for moi...

Carter, this is Winners in Vancouver. Last year. I was trying on some cool crossover pants. All the Winners have dressing rooms like this. So it could be any of our Canadian Fabbers posting from one.

The Wall Street journal had an article on this color today. It looked more pink. They said that the color as enough warm tone in it to look good on most skin tones. A lip color was said to look fab on all skin tones.

A couple of more articles on the color. Some of the examples look quite a bit warmer (love the first visual in the second article, it looks like a range of shades, not one particular one):

It's not love at first sight for me but I could change my mind.

Maybe I will get chance to add more purple to my closet? I welcome any kind of purple!

Hmmm...for myself I think I'd like a less saturated version. But I'll enjoy seeing it as is on others!

Not for me - much too cool/pastel - but I love seeing it on summer seasons. Suz, you look radiant in it!

Nay, it is like death to me! I think it brings out the sallow color in my skin, so I will pass. The closest I can get to purple is a very blue-purple like periwinkle.

I love the name "Radiant Orchid," but I have a huge hangup about colours that remind me of Easter eggs. 'll probably pass on this, although I reserve the right to change my mind, especially if it comes up as one of my good colours when I get my colours "done" next week.

Suz, I love it on you!

ETA I do love the saturated darker version shown in that The Zoe Report link. I'd wear any and all of those items.

I really like this and will be adding to my blacks and greys

I prefer Sparkling grape(reddish sort of Barney purple) or Aubergine(also called Rasin Brown in the LLBean catalogue) for my favorite purple shades . I'll admire it on others as I really don't think it wil be at all becoming to my complexion.

Pretty color! Not one I can wear successfully, but pretty nonetheless.

Oh dear! I love this color but I have been unable to find it anywhere in the retail shops here. Hope I would have better luck now! No clue if it would look good on me though

And Suz you look stunning in it!

Violet is such an unfortunate shade for me. Oh well, tangerine and mint weren't mine either. I still found clothes to buy!

I sure do! It's one of my favourite colours, and one that I wear well, so I'm a little biased:-)

Mauve is a bit better on me, but I think this color works for me too! I'm definitely on Team Purple.

I'm not sure how I feel about it. I think that may be one I'll use in small doses if I see it around.

This is a little too close to one of my worst colors, lavender... Sigh.

Love the color, but my skin tone is far too yellow to carry it well, I'm afraid. I typically wear the darkest purples well. I will give it a try, though!

I could do the darker version in the Zoe Report link, but the pastel versions in the runway pic would probably just be unfortunate on me. Although, by the end of February or so, I get pretty desperate for springlike colors, so I may end up trying it just on the off chance that I can combine it with better shades for me.

Oh, I think it is sooooo pretty! I could see mixing it with my grays - and wouldn't it look nice with creams, as well as navy? Not sure how I would look in it - but I really like it!

I ordered this a day or two before this post. Serendipitous! The tank is long, it's supposed to be, but feels odd to me. I'm sure I'll get used to it. No smaller sizes left anyway. LOVE the leggings, though. Perfect for not so tall me. Will have to take the tank out for a run shortly, but it's too warm for the pants today. Maybe next time!
