Trying to force myself to work combinations in my closet to take my fashion play out of my head and in to practice!

As always, any feedback welcome. I'm trying to improve my outfits! Thanks for all your help.

1-2 Chilly again!
3-5 Halter top from AT last year
6 Mel likes all my outfits - he's my biggest supporter, but doesn't have a very critical eye! haha

Wow! Love these. I don't think I have seen that scarf before but it looks terrific on you and definitely "springs" up the darker outfit without compromising warmth.

I remember that AT halter. It is gorgeous on you. I like it best with the jacket. Here, some lighter footwear would really bookend the jacket and your hair (if you have it. How about those Miz Mooz boots of yours? Or do you have lighter booties?

LOVE your furry friend. He has beautiful markings.

Purrfect, morethanbeige, and that halter is a pretty color on you! I, too, like it with the more structured jacket in #4. #1-2 is a nice chilly-weather look and the print scarf adds an interesting highlight. Of course, the cat is well-groomed, too; I should know as I have two here! ^_^

I really like outfit #1. It is a great combination that is warm enough for the cool spring weather but with lighter detail to make it light enough for spring.

I love the aqua top. It is a beautiful color for you.

Oh, Mel, what a cutie pie! I love the first look so much! I much prefer the jacket with the blue top, for its structure and the fact that it hits higher up than the top (vs. the sweater which hits right at the same spot). You are looking so chic!

Oh, Kitty is sooo adorable! I love how the leopard print scarf lightens up that first outfit! You look long and lean. The halter top is SO gorgeous on you. That's my fave--I love it with the denim jacket. I think it looks airy and summery with the cardigan--I think the exposed shoulders is unexpected.

Mel is a great fashion poser too! He looks like a sweetheart.

Denim jacket with halter and jeans- for sure! Sweater with halter and a lighter jean or a sandal/flat for warmer weather?
Outfit #1 is fun and I love the dramatic scarf and stripe t.

loved 1-2 and did not like the top so much. But I like a waist. So it looked better under the jacket but the sweater didn't do much for me. The color of the tank was great though

Thanks for all the comments! I just realized that I misspoke and Mel does have his favorite outfits...anything with dangling objects that he can claw and grab.

I really like 1/2 and also the teal halter with the jean jacket, not as much with the sweater. The scarf in 1/2 is great and I like the ruffle detail on the jacket side!

That scarf looks so sophisticated with outfit #1! And that halter is a great color for you and looks lovely teamed with the jacket in #4 pic. Mel is adorable!

#1: That beautiful scarf takes the centre stage and it should. Those jeans fit you to a t. I also like the discreet layering effect from wearing the top untucked. It gives it shape. I don't know how this outfit could be improved besides maybe adding a watch.
What purse are you wearing with it?

#2: Beauty! That halter top certainly deserve more love this year too, it suits you so well. I MUCH prefer the jeans jacket with it, with its crisp fresh effect.
The other white cardi doesn't match the turquoise top to my eye, as the latter, with its colour and front ruffles, require a strong shape.
For some reason this second outfit makes me want to look upwards. It would be worth adding an interest around your head.
Have you tried wearing your hair up, with earrings, I sense it would look very hot.
Or a Stetson.
