The green dress is an Angie pick. What do you think about the color on me? I don't normally wear this color. It fits similarly to the denim dress I reviewed earlier (and returned today). The dress fits like a Petite.

The plaid dress is an actual Petite. One review said it fit her like a sack so I got worried and ordered in a size down. This is my normal dress size of PS. When the PXS arrives I won't even take it out of the package.

Also shown is the Angie Pick Kut jacket ordered before Angie said to size down. Now the PXS is OOS. A lot of stores showed one in stock but they couldn't find it. I have more returns so I will have them check again tomorrow. Do you agree that it is too big through the shoulders?

It's a bit hard to make out the details of the jacket on you, but the plaid dress stands out in a great way. Not sure if it's the pattern or the cut or a conbo thereof, but I say keep! I don't have anything against the green dress, but simply prefer the plaid on you.

I like the green dress, but I'm finding it hard to judge the colour for you. I feel as if it might be a bit "muddy" toned, but I'm not sure, and I think that even if it is, if you like it and wanted it, you'd find a brilliant way to style it.

I really like the plaid one on you. I'm surprised, because the scale of the plaid is quite large, yet it works. Maybe it's all that white in it? (Do keep in mind that I'm a sucker for tartan).

The jacket -- at first I couldn't see the problem but in the plaid dress with jacket photo I see how the shoulders are sort of pooching up, which does suggest it is too big. On the other hand, maybe that's an effect of holding the phone?

It does pop, doesn't it, gradfashionista? You sort of come to that photo and go WOW!

I love the plaid one! I've had my eye on it since the sale started. Is that the purple colorway? Is there black in the print also? The other one is cute too, but the plaid really stands out.

crst, yes, this is the purple colorway with black and off-white. I also ordered the red so at some point it will be Battle of the Plaids. The fabric has a bit of texture, and I would say it is an early fall item as it is summer weight without being flimsy. I am pretty shocked that the plaid seems to be matched throughout the garment, as Caslon quality can sometimes be a little shoddy or at least worse than Halogen.

And, uh, I am also a sucker for plaids, or at least some plaids. With you all as my witness, I will NOT, however, keep both plaid dresses.

Ok, we are holding you to that one, Donna.

It's funny. I like the dresses with the toppers...I don't know if they stand on their own. Maybe that's because they're SHIRT dresses...

Thank you for the info! I'll be watching for the red one on you too. I like both of them a ton. That's probably why. I haven't ordered yet. Can't decide.

The plaid dress looks great on you. I don't think the large scale pattern is too much at all. In fact, the opposite. I don't think small scale prints look good with salt and pepper hair, it's just another pattern. Bold is the way to go. Color looks great with your hair.

I love that plaid dress on you! I ordered it in the blue, and it was very blah. I think I should size down and go with the red.

The plaid is amazing on you. Can't see the jacket fit well on my screen. The green reads okay, but as Suz said, perhaps a bit muddy. Happy choosing.

I think the dresses are good fits.The jacket is hard to see because of how you're holding the camera (and because it's dark).

The green dress is going back. I really, really wanted to wear the plaid one today but decided to hold off until the red plaid one arrives. The fabric is the texture of linen so it's comfy on a warm day.

Yesterday, I struck out when the SA called a bunch of stores to see if they had the jacket in a smaller size. Today, another SA called and found the jacket after maybe five calls; she missed one jacket by only a few minutes. I think the trick may be to have them make calls starting at the bottom of the list. The top listings may get all the calls. . .
