This fabulous sweater is from LOFT's lounge line; I couldn't find it on the website, but we spotted it on our coat trip* this weekend. They were having a 20% off sale and I had a $20 Style Rewards, so I got it for about half-price. It is fiiiiiiiiiine. I know it's loungewear, but it was raining and I wasn't really going out much on Saturday except to my WW meeting and grocery shopping, so I wore it with a simple black jersey sack dress, black leggings, and my black cowboy-ish boots.

George checked me out and approved! LOL.

My second fabulous purchase of the week are my new BLUE SUEDE SHOES. You guys, they are amazing. They're Soffts so they're ridiculously comfortable, and they are cute beyond the telling of it.

*We did find some coats too on our trip; I got a simple-but-necessary black, lined Anne Klein trench at Macys, and Laura got an adorable faux-fur-hooded cream puffer from Lord & Taylor (I think it was also an Anne Klein). It's not quite the length she wanted, but it looked fabulous on her, and the salesperson gave her a special 25% off discount on top of the sale price so she had to go for it. Then on Sunday I went back to Eddie Bauer Outlet and got my white puffer. I am ready for winter now!

Ooo, I'm swooning just like Queenie over those shoes and they are comfortable as well. I love you how you have styled your lounge wear, I would definitely wear that look.

And I want to see a pic of both your puffers! I was looking at the Eddie Bauer site just the other day. I have a puffer, but they did have some nice ones. Please share!

Kristen looks so great in that cozy loungewear sweater. The collar is really cute, and she wears long sweaters better than anyone I know, so it's a no-brainer to pick one out for her. Although I am happy to be loaned out to anyone in search of cozy sweaters.

Blue suede shoes. I cannot believe how gorgeous they are!

OMG KITTY! Any hope for intelligent discourse is lost as soon as a kitty comes into the picture (literally). What a handsome specimen of the feline form. He really does seem to admire you Kristen, and with good reason! I saw those Sofft shoes at Nordies and they are very pretty (alongside some amazing 1920s-style mary janes that I only wish I could wear). They look gorgeous on you. The sweater looks great too.

I can't wait to see Laura's puffer! I adore Lord and Taylor. I have ranted and raved about this enough so I'll spare everyone from having to read it again, but it truly befuddles me why more people don't shop there more often.

There is nothing better than blue suede shoes! Those are so pretty. I love your pairing of dark blue dress with purple sweater. Beautiful and cheery.

Shiny, the shoes were reviewed on Barking Dog, and there were a lot of links to where they are sold. They're not a 4-inch heel, but they are 3 inches, and it does feel high. But the padding and the arch shape make them totally wearable.

Marianna, I had to break my no-suede vow for these, and believe me, it was tough. But I decided we have enough non-rainy, non-snowy days that I can wear them enough to justify buying them...just not this week, I guess.

I did swear to Hubby that they complete my fall/winter shoe set, and barring any major issue (like injuring myself and needing to only wear loafers or flats every day) I will not be buying any more shoes this season. I've built up a great collection the last two years, and it's time to enjoy and rotate through them. (And it leaves me more shopping room for dresses, LOL!)

Thanks Kristen! These shoes are so tempting. They are definitely calling my name! However on second thought, they are kinda similar to my red suede nine west pumps? I dunno. It is true that when I fall in love with a shoe, no matter how impractical it may seem, that shoe winds up getting a lot of use...

I understand the dilemma over color! I went for the blues because I have a pair of red patent pumps that I've been wearing a lot this fall, and I could not justify having two pairs of reds and no blues.
