I realised I made an error in another thread saying I hadn't had black summer sandals since 2009. I had of course had the pair with the sparkly bling on the straps, which were posted in my first WIW, worn to my aunt's memorial service. I noticed then though that they were looking sad, not leather and bits of the vinyl were coming off. I have got rid of them. My last black patent ones went to DD in 2009. I thought a pair may have helped ground certain outfits like the bright peacock dress, so one on sale for $50 in patent leather, dainty and with a low heel, should get well used next summer I hope.
Also my much loved 2012 two-tone walking sandals are dying, mainly due to cutting my leg and getting blood on them which we cannot seem to clean properly. They were down to about $ 4 CPW anyway. So I will chuck them at the end of this holiday and have replaced with a pale black pair. Cannot find a new red pair so far, nothing dainty enough
Pic 1, new black patent sandals. Pic 2, old blingy vinyl black sandals. Pic 3, 2012 stained two-tone walking sandals. Pic 4, new pale black walking sandals. Pics 5/6, 2009 dainty red sandals ( seem similar style to me to new black patents, which gives me great hope for said new black patents) . Cannot find replacement, red ones have been glued for the third time. Pic 7, peacock dress, would red or black patent sandals work with it or are heels still too low?
Thanks for looking!
