I think they are awesome. As Angie says, they have edge. I like them worn both ways you have them, tighter laces/shorter and looser laces/taller too. If the color is gray, sign me up... Now... what is the link again? Can we be boot twins??? Do you mind?

Quick question: which part is the "12.5 inches" shaft height? The front, or the back?

As for the laces, I think you can easily find laces in just about any color... change at whim... The laces are such a clever detail.

Shiny, I would be honored to be boot twins with you! I've had a hard time linking to them but google "endless antelope 594" and you should get right to them. Pm me if it doesn't work. I haven't measured them myself, but I'd guess the front is 12.5 based on where my Veronicas hit my leg.

As for how the lacing works, the have two rows of d rings up the back with long laces running between them. I can really cinch them in at the ankle if I like, even more than I first posted after playing with them.
