Dawn, that's interesting because I don't feel that way about the phrase "good taste". To me it's not about a hierarchy or good/bad, but rather about knowing what works for you and being exposed to design regularly. I suppose to me, "good taste" is synonymous with "developed taste"... with plenty of room for individual preferences, still!
