So this has been easier than I thought it would be. Which is very surprising, given my nature.
I've been eyeballing stuff online, pinning and collecting. Adding things to wishlists. But overall I'm like eh. Admittedly except when I returned some sunglasses to Nordstrom (the white Tom Ford's, they discolored), I haven't darkened a retail store. So that makes it easier.
I'm wondering if I can go longer than August. In fact the only thing I want is that Band of Outsiders plaid blazer. Which seems to be long gone in my size.

Congratulations, Anna! You are probably feeling great about this. Honestly, with your amazing wardrobe, I am not that surprised. Things would have to pass a pretty high bar to be allowed in your closet, and new fall stuff are just beginning to show up.

I'm also holding steady in August, although I don't know how much credit I should get, given that I am spending thousands and thousands this month on the house project! LOL

I am looking forward to buying a couple of things at Seattle Shoptember!

Congrats! Might be fun to try to make it until the Seattle meet-up, giving yourself even more fashion dollars to spend.

I fell off the wagon. I only have one pair of maternity jeans, and they are a cropped boyfriend style. With fall coming, and not due until the end of October, I ordered a full length pair. I am not going to be too upset, though. My austerity these past few months has left me with 5 months clothing budget in the bank for post baby and getting DD clothes that her this winter and fall.

Congratulations! I filled my shopping bug by shopping for DD. Before she left for India, she gave me a $10 H&M good from 8/24 to about 9/5, so maybe I'll peruse H&M 9/1. I've spent my time thinking about what I want to buy in Sept. so I'm hoping that Austerity August doesn't backfire!

Congrats. I fell off the wagon by buying some workout pants. But they were a need now that I'm working out 5-6 days a week. If I can translate this focus on my health into losing about 8 lbs, I'll fit into a bunch of pants that have been languishing for 4-5 months, so it will open up a whole new part of my wardrobe. That means I should have a very low buy September as well. And, I decided not to keep the exchanged color of the EF top from earlier in the month, so I'm actually negative on spend for August.

P.S. I saw this blazer at The Limited the other day. Not nearly as fab as your BoO one, but it makes me think we could be seeing a lot of plaid options this fall/winter. And there's something about the camel plaid that I really like.

Half way through for me as well!!! You're right, it has been relatively easy.

I haven't been to the mall since August started and the only website I visited was Athleta after seeing Angie's post on workout capsules. I will be adding to my workout capsule in September, but for now I am content pinning things.

How are you dealing with the disappointment about that blazer, Anna? I'm starting to feel panicky about the things I liked at Zara and wondering if it is a bad idea to wait until September. What if they run out? But then, on the other hand, I figure I will just find something else. How disappointed are you?

I confess: I just bought a little silver ring. But still, no clothing.

Well done, Anna. Remind me -did you buy much at the NAS? Or have you just got to a point of feeling content with your wardrobe? I am seeing all the beautiful things coming out as the Spring collections become available here, and am suffering major FOMO.

At NAS I got the plaid Pendleton wool jacket, Current/Elliott plaid shirt & black silk track pants from EF. Plus some undies.

So NAS was actually pretty restrained, too. I am really impressed at how you seem to have found a level where you feel happy with what you have. I am aspiring to this, and trying not to get my head turned by pretty things.

I'm still holding out for Seattle shopping! Been very tempted a couple of times while back to school shopping for kiddos, but thankfully I turned away. (I may have petted an item or two, LOL!)
