Oh RoseandJean, that is so hillarious and so true! I forgot that I even ask myself that question as it is (usually) very ingrained into my psyche. Except yesterday [roll the dramatic music....] (Story follows)
As I put on my black dress first thing in the morning, I couldn't recall why I hadn't worn it in *ages* as it is quite flattering and very comfy.
Fast forward an hour...
I remembered why at *precisley* the exact same moment Master 3 grabbed hold of the bottom of my dress (whilst I was talking to a friend in a very public place), lifted it up high above his head (to approximately my waist height) in order to try to gain access to 'hide' underneath.
No, I don't know why. Yes, we are close, but not that close. Yes, I encourage him to share, but really, there are times, surely when it is ok that what's mine is mine and what's yours is yours?! (I did ask him later if he was trying to re-birth, but he was muttering something more along the lines of "hide and seek is fun, mummy!")
I should add that the "lifting action" was all done in the space of time of about ooh, I'd say, a nano-second (way faster than my reaction speed) and exposed to the world my lovely purple cottontails.
"Nice undies Katie" my friend giggled. What could I say? "Ta. Can you tell I like purple?" I replied, my face nearly the same shade as my undies, as I attempted to wrestle junior out from underneath me (suddenly surprisingly strong as it appeared that he was quite comfortable under there).
Repeat, learn from my mistakes..... learn from Katiepea's mistakes.....!
