Hmm, I'm thinking you might want to pass. I have these and my feet are wide - but not quite an official wide width. They are really best for narrow feet - especially in the toe area (toes and base of the toe). I think also my toes are stubby and chunky, so there's the vertical issue not just horizontal. If you have gracefully long, thin toes you *might* be okay - but those sorts of toes usually aren't attached to extremely wide feet.
While you can adjust the back strap, doing so does not really help you in the toe area. The straps are sewn into place around the toe. Adjusting the straps helps in the back of your foot, and in the middle, but does nothing for the toe area. And if you size up, your foot is likely going to slide forward, which will squoosh your toes forward, making it worse.
I think I have finally broken them in so they are comfortable 4-hour shoes for me now - it helped that I got caught in a rainstorm, they got thoroughly soaked, and then dried on my feet. That gave the straps just enough give. But if my foot was any wider, they would never have stretched enough.
Otherwise, lengthwise I think these are TTS. For comparison, I am in a size 6, which is my usual size for 9 shoes out of 10. I need to size down to a 5.5 in certain brands such as Nine West heels - but for Me-Too's - and any sort of ballet flat -I need to size *up* to a 6.5.
Hope that helps!
