An interesting sign of the times, Elle magazine now regularly runs helpful articles under the category ‘Make Do and Mend’. I found this one https://www.elle.com/uk/fashio.....er-repair/ on the maintenance of leather goods helpful, and this one on ‘how to sew’ https://www.elle.com/uk/fashio.....ow-to-sew/ funny as an experienced sewist, but a fine introduction with good links. (Most of the articles are short with informative links, but some are detailed - like the first link.) Articles range from how to sew on a button, to cleaning jewellery.
