It’s fun to wear cobalt blue with white bottoms. So fresh! This top is flattering and comfortable. It doesn’t cling because it’s made of a substantial rayon/spandex. Its gentle cowl neck is bust friendly so don’t worry about that part of it at all. Scrunch the sleeves and add neck beads.

This might be an animal print, but it looks more like a swirly geometric print in real life. It’s the same flattering style as the blue, but for petites, so it’s shorter and a little narrower. Perfect with white bottoms and super comfy. It’s easy to launder and travel with too.

I’ve had all kinds of body types in these pants so they’re fairly flop proof, especially if you are prepared to consider alterations for waist adjustment. The fabric is thick and a little slippery, which is just what you want for a classic dress pants look. Love the boot cut leg opening and clean, flat front sans side entry pockets. Available in four colours and up to a size 16. Petites are available too.

I haven’t seen these on a body so I don’t know how they fit. But the store usually runs a size big and the quality is no worse than the INC brand at Macy’s. They’re made of silk so they’ll require a delicate wash cycle. Cropped cargo pants look sweet with a casual top and flats, and just as good dressed up with a blouse, or shirt and heels. I might give them a go.

Colourful beads make my must haves list for Spring and Summer 2010. I got a strand of these in turquoise and they’re a quality piece. The glass beads are weighty and a pretty colour. The strand is really, really long! So long that I can wrap it around my neck four times. At the moment I’m into layering a long beaded strand necklace in messy ways around my neck. Perhaps you’ll like doing that too.

Clarks is on a roll. Here is yet another comfortable and good looking sandal from this season’s collection. As with most Clarks footwear, the footbed is cushioning, the leather  buttery and the heel stable. This style looks good on the foot!

I have not yet fitted this dress on one of my clients, but it will probably be a similar fit to this one because it’s from the same line and in the same fabric. Unlike most sheath dresses, this particular cut works well for ladies with a little extra around the hip and thigh area. Large scale, black and white polka dots are fun, but bold, so consider yourself warned if you prefer a more subtle look.

The substantial but drapey lined fabric is what makes this dress a win. Being in a cotton spandex, it’s extra comfy too. Unusually for this style, the cut works for lasses with a little extra around the hip and thigh area.  Sheath dresses are so versatile so if you find one that fits – grab it.

If you have long, hot Summers, this shoe is for you. Like most Clarks shoes, this sandal is really comfortable and very well made. My clients with wider feet and/or bunions wear this sandal because the soft straps ease over those areas of the foot. Love the studs! It runs true to size and I vote red, champagne or black.

This is the most comfortable sandal I’ve ever had on my feet. I guess the genius lies in the elastic ankle strap and stretchy toe strap. It doesn’t look like a structured sandal, but it certainly feels that way once it’s on. Breezy, lightweight and very forgiving. I’d give this style a try no matter what your foot shape. Chances are high the elastic will stretch to the right width for your foot.
