If I needed a sleeveless denim vest, this would be it. Soft, yet rugged and really robust. That’s how I know the Levis brand and I’m happy to see it live up to it’s reputation. It looks amazing worn unbuttoned so don’t let the picture put you off. Runs true to size and great for regular height and tall girls. If you are extra petite, this might be too long.

This your answer to a denim jacket when temperatures start to soar. The sleeveless version offers the same edge as a sleeved denim jacket, but with extra ventilation. I really liked the vintage wash on this style. Different and super cool.

Somebody has got to buy these shoes because I couldn’t keep them. They were too high for my everyday lifestyle and I didn’t need another pair of “sitting shoes”. But they’re so beautifully retro I can’t bear it. Quite comfy too. Love both colours although the blue has my heart.

A comfortable gladiator sandal. Soft buttery straps and a cushioning footbed make for sandal heaven if you have foot skin that’s as sensitive as mine. They do not come in half sizes so I sized down and that worked. They will also work if you have a slightly broader foot, but aren’t so fab for narrow feet. All the colours are great and gold is my top pick.

This is a great casual wedge. Eric Michael makes fabulous boots, so trying his sandals for the first time this season was a good decision. These worked for regular and wider width feet. The straps are lovely and hold the foot in place. The foot bed isn’t as soft as I would like because it’s an espadrille, but not bad at all. Available in four colours and the gold gets my top vote.

I find it uncomfortable to arch my foot to this extent, but you might handle this heel height with ease. Aside from the heel height, the rest of the shoe is quite comfortable. Soft footbed! Not good for wide feet though.

So sweet on the foot! Fun, feminine and flirty. A stunningly soft foot bed and buttery soft leather makes this thong kind to your feet. It comes in five colours, all of which are equally pretty. So much better than a rubbery flip flop when you’re not at the beach.

From a comfort perspective, these are the only thong sandals that have come close to satisfying my fussy feet. Ever. I normally can’t tolerate the thong bit between my toes, but leave it to Stuart Weitzman to come up with a  pair that I’d consider wearing. Pricy, but beautiful and beautifully made.

As I write this, Nordstrom has this item on sale for $98.90. The white is not available online, but I’ve seen it available in stores.

If you’re not wearing a breezy dress on a scorching hot day, then opt for an airy top like this one instead. It’s not as clingy as it looks and the ruffle lies flat against the chest. Super soft and available in three solid colours. Nice length too, so long-waisted gals be sure to take a look.

I own these and they’re divine. It took me forever to find the perfect pair of harem pants and now I have them. They drape beautifully and the side entry pockets are fabulous. Soft, slouchy, well made and extremely comfortable. A great item to dress up or down when you’re after something other than a pencil skirt or slacks.
