Everybody Open Lace Sandal

These sandals are very much out of my comfort zone, but I tried them on anyway because they are buttery soft, beautifully made, and low heeled. They were PERFECTION and I am surprised. Very comfortable and streamlined. I can’t believe that they did not rub. The grey lace up detailing is brilliant and creates a leg lengthening effect. I sized down half a size. I will go back for these next week in black! They will not work for a broader foot.

Classiques Entier Eclipse Flat

I launched into orbit when I tried these on. They are SO Audrey I can’t stand it. Comfortable, retro and oh so pretty. They are also available in a cream and tan animal print in top stores and those are the ones I want! They might run a little short due to the pointy toe so go up half a size (although I wear my true size here). They do not offer arch support, but my client popped in her super feet and was as happy as a clam.

Naya Bakula Platform Pump

Eco-friendly footwear brand “Naya” often makes shoes that are both nice looking AND comfortable. The soft leathered Bakula pump has arch support, a cushioning foot bed and a sturdy heel. It’s the rosette detailing on the side that sold me. So pretty with dresses and skirts. Currently on sale in two colours for $108.00 and runs true to size.

Dolce Vita Storm Boots

These casual boots are fabulously comfortable, super soft and rather robust. Add weatherproof spray and you’ve got yourself a great little Winter boot. The design of the flap is the best part about the boots since they can be worn up or down and half way. I prefer the black but the brown is lovely too. Runs true to size with a roomy toe box.

Naturalizer Bates Booties

These sweet booties look better on the foot. They are just the type of bootie to wear with dresses and skirts because the tops don’t gape (they fit snugly around the ankle).  They are quite cushioning, but will not work for a broad foot unfortunately. They run true to size and look really streamlined with slacks, skinnies and bootcuts too. Fab heel height.

Franco Sarto Mount Ballet Flats

These aren’t the softest of shoes but with a cushioning insole they feel a lot better. The soles are quite substantial which is unusual for ballet flats. You might need to go up half a size if you have long toes because the snipped toebox is snug.  Also available in brown animal print. Adorable with leggings and tapered pants  or jeans.

Franco Sarto Nill Pumps

The retro vibe of these low heeled pumps is divine. The patent leather is a little hard but not bad at all. The buckle does not run up against your foot as you walk and the heel is as stable as can be. They run true to size for a regular width foot and are quite comfortable. I liked all the colours and wish they were available in tomato red.

Stuart Weitzman 50/50 Over the Knee Boots

I own a very similar pair which are as comfortable as my bedroom slippers. Buttery soft leather, a solid flat heel and a stretchy weatherproof back make them a winning combination. A beautifully made boot that pulls up over the leg with ease. They cost a fortune and I nabbed mine at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. But the truth is that I could walk the streets of NYC flat for days on end with these on my feet. No blisters and no foot cramping. Priceless. Runs true to size.

Franco Sarto Pacaya Chestnut Knee-High Boots

The leather on these boots is perfect. A little distressed, deliciously cognac and very soft. I just LOVE the outside zipper and dainty buckle detailing. So unique. The sturdy sole is great for bad weather. These boots work best on a regular to tall -ish height gal with a 15 inch calf circumference. The shaft height is too high for petites so don’t even try. Runs big so size down half a size.
