Clarks Smooch Sandal

If you have long, hot Summers, this shoe is for you. Like most Clarks shoes, this sandal is really comfortable and very well made. My clients with wider feet and/or bunions wear this sandal because the soft straps ease over those areas of the foot. Love the studs! It runs true to size and I vote red, champagne or black.

Clarks Country Meadow Wedge Sandal

Casual wedge sandals like these do not date and are a versatile look for most Summer wardrobes. This style is comfortable on the foot and sweet in design. The inserted elastic on the soft leather ankle strap provides extra comfort as you stride so no rubbing. It’s available in raspberry, chocolate, black, bronze and tan. The raspberry is extra yummy.

Sofft Vanessa Cage Heel Sandal

These are the most comfortable cage heels I’ve ever had on my feet. Patent leather is not usually soft, but these patent leather straps are remarkably soft. Fab with hose in Autumn and Winter and great barelegged in Spring and Summer. They are available in black, chocolate and burgundy and all shades are equally pretty. Runs true to size.

Franco Sarto “Tazer” Sandal

This is the prettiest wedge sandal I’ve seen so far this season and it looks so elegant on the foot. Soft supple leather and broad straps make for a very comfortable foot casing, but you’ll have to arch your foot because of the heel. If you like high heels, be sure to try this sandal. It’s nice in black but sublime in stone.

Me Too Essex Low Heeled Pumps

If you’re looking for a classic, comfortable and slightly retro low heeled pump, give this style a try. It’s great under dress slacks or jeans and just as fab with skirts and dresses. If you’re looking for cute, hard-to-find ink blue shoes, you’ve found them! They come in red, black and brown too.

As I write this they are on sale for $72.00.

Frye Melissa Button Boot

This is a refined Frye boot style. It won’t work on narrow calves but it’s stellar on a regular sized calf. Easy to pull on, comfortable and super fab in all the colours except black (this style in black looked bland somehow). Bordeaux gets my vote with Cognac coming in as a close second.

Frye Paige Tall Riding Boot

These boots are unique and each colour represents a different fashion persona. The distressed leather is what sold the style to me in the first place, but the contoured flap detailing is clever too. It’s especially great for tall lasses with wider calves. A roomy toe box and comfy boot, but it feels very flat. If you do not like the feeling of super flat heels give this style a miss. But if you love it like I do, give it a whirl. It’s fabulous worn over jeans.

Frye Veronica Slouch Knee-High Boots

I would own these if I didn’t already own a fabulous pair of grey slouch boots. No nonsense rugged edge in a clean sort of a way. The Zappos reviews are a great source of information so read them if you aren’t convinced by mine! Great on a narrow calf because slouch room around the calf is allowed. And great on a larger calf when the shaft is scrunched below the calf. Love these boots.

Frye Carson Shortie Ankle Boot

Timeless, ageless and fabulous. Perfectly classy under a pair of killer bootcut jeans. These boots won’t work if you have high insteps, but they should work for most other feet types, even those that run a little wide. Remember to cushion your boots with nice insoles and add an orthotic for extra support if you need it.
